We have an oldie but goodie to share today from a piece in Brides Magazine on A Punchy, Preppy Wedding Color Palette Inspired by Palm Beach. With the Summer officially here in NYC, vacations and hitting the beach is on our minds. We love the aqua and vibrant green colors mixed with all shades of pink.
Today we're looking back at one of our favorite 'no flower' weddings we did for a lovely couple, Carrie and Adam. The couple was looking to have succulents and earth tones to decorate their early fall wedding.
Remember it's not always about the flowers! We were excited to design lush, garland centerpieces for the Brides Magazine feature in their 2017 June / July Print Edition. Garlands are a great way to add lots of freshness to your event while keeping the price tag low. These work great for long tablescapes as well as escort card and dessert tables.
As Spring turns into Summer we are again reminded by how much New York City inspires our team. We've worked at some amazing NYC Manhattan venues for weddings and special events including The Gramercy Park Hotel, Highline Hotel, Tribeca Rooftop, The Pierre, The Museum of the City of New York, The Harvard Club, and The Knickerbocker Club.
Just in time for engagement parties happening this summer and fall, Brides Magazine put together ideas for an 'Evening Chic' theme in their April / May 2017 print edition.
Thank you to Twirl for featuring one of our favorite weddings from last year in their "Real Weddings" section. Such an amazing day out in Upstate New York at The Farm at Lily Pond.
So happy to create a flower wall for the amazing Jenny Han at the launch party for her newest book, Always and Forever, Lara Jean. We were inspired by the simplicity of a fern frond along with the full blooms of carnations and cockscomb celosia.
Last week we were featured by InStyle in their piece "13 Ways to Make Your Escort Card Table a Design Focus". Our tip, shared by our Creative Director Denise Fasanello, was number three on the list.
We worked with Carats & Cake on a recent piece for Martha Stewart Weddings on Monochromatic Weddings. We loved the topic of this piece as now a days weddings are not always about just white. Our top tips for brides looking for a monochromatic look - Add subtle hints to your centerpieces.
Last week a styled wedding project we worked on with a few of our favorites in the industry - Laura Remmert Events, Face Time Beauty, and Judy Pak - was featured on Style Me Pretty. The florals for this table were inspired by a gorgeous Valentino dress Alexa Chung wore at an event recently with beautiful floral embroidery. Pretty and feminine. Much of my inspiration also came from the gardens at Wave Hill, the Wild Garden in the Spring and Summer features so many colors and textures and varieties of flowers.
